life is sweet & spicy
right now i'm sitting in bed before i go to sleep. feeling satisfied cuz we had a nice dinner & then laughed really hard editing pictures of our cat in ridiculous ways.
this morning i had a long phone call with my brother. he was telling me someone broke into his house last night. they didn't steal anything tho, they just went to sleep. o_O i think i'd be a little traumatized, but he was shockingly chill about it. life is crazy. it's nice to catch up.
while i was out running some errands the other day a stranger approached me & said she liked my outfit, especially my UGGs. she then went on to say how she had recently been in Paris & everyone was wearing them. "it was so chic", she said. then she ended her story by telling me that Paris "is the fashion capitol of the world, ya kno". when i say she was like an NPC, i mean that in the most endearing way possible. i'll always remember that moment when i wear my UGGs from now on.
[...one day later] finishing yesterday's draft while eating carrots. it felt like a longggg work day, but i don't feel overwhelmed. i've got a lot on my mind, but i feel confident. no matter how far i go, i'm already proud of how far i've come. š„
i'm a big fan of this tiny battery powered light. the brand is snow peak. the design is really smart & minimal. it has a strong magnet that works well for me since i have a lot of metal surfaces & shelves in my work area. good design is so satisfying.
